During this webinar, we plan to walk through the Health Management Associates (HMA) analysis—relating to State Directed Payments (SDP), answer questions, and discuss next steps.
Although changes were anticipated in the distribution methodology as the state transitioned from Appendix 14/17 to SDPs, the extent of some of the changes were surprising. As a result, HAP requested an additional analysis that will provide more clarity relating to the reasons for the changes, validate that DHS’ calculations were accurate to the extent we can, and identify any other irregularities.
